Shared meals. Movies and books that inspire us. Conversations that linger. Our new series creates an opportunity to come together with your community and celebrate all that is possible when we work towards a common goal, together.
Potluck & Movie Nights
Every-other month beginning in August, we’ll gather to share a meal and to watch a movie - classic, animated, documentary, comedy or drama - that broadens our view of sustainability.
In the month’s we’re not gathering to watch a movie, our Sustainability Book Club will meet to discuss a carefully-chosen book that reminds us of the work that was done before us, and shows us all that is possible.
Book Club
Our potluck and movie series is made possible with the help of our partners, First Parish of Norwell’s Climate Justice Team and we ask for $5/person for our space rental and other expenses. The Book Club is free but space is limited. Please RSVP for each event you attend.

Join us for our Community Potluck & Movie Night - part of our Sustainability Series. This month features two animated films - a short film and full-length feature.
1987 short film telling the story of a shepherd's singlehanded effort to re-forest a barren valley in the foothills of the Alps, near Provence.
This 2012 animated musical fantasy comedy film based on the 1971 children's book by Dr. Seuss tells the story of Ted’s life in a walled city where all vegetation is artificial and his quest to fulfill his love interest’s desire to see a real tree.
